Rescues & Shelters
Our partner shelters and animal charities fight against animal homelessness, abuse and neglect and help humans afford medical care that would otherwise separate them from their dog. Led and staffed by dedicated dog lovers, often at great personal cost, these organizations do not get big foundation dollars – but you can help their work with every purchase.

Brown Dog Foundation
Brown Dog Foundation was founded in memory of an amazing dog named “Chocolate Chip.” His story embodies the reason we exist. Chip’s first family surrendered him because they couldn’t afford the surgery to remove a Mast Cell Tumor. Chip was diagnosed with Lymphosarcoma just 45 days after his second owner lost her job unexpectedly. Once again, Chip’s fate would depend on whether or not his owner could afford life-saving medical treatment.

NYC Second Chance Rescue
The NYS Second Chance Rescue practice responsible and innovative ways to reduce animal overpopulation in shelters, rescue and rehabilitate critically injured and neglected animals, and connect the community to services that enable animals to remain in their homes.
Shelters count on them every single day to help them. So many of them are understaffed, under-resourced, and overflowing with animals with no place to go. When an animal is most in need, shelters call the NYS Second Chance Rescue to help. Not because other rescues are not capable, but because they are fortunate to have a large support network, donors, and medical teams that enable them to do the impossible.

The Animal Pad
The Animal Pad is a non-profit, all breed dog rescue that focuses on saving dogs from high kill shelters and the streets of Mexico.
We get them vet care, place them in foster homes and then find them loving forever families. A few years ago, we turned our attention to the street dogs of Mexico as there is very little help for them. Since then, we have developed a large rescue network in Baja California and we have a sister shelter in Ensenada that we focus on taking dogs from whenever funds allow.
